Who we are

This website is run by Just PCO Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17453886). We are the “controller” of the personal information described in this policy, which means we decide how and why it is used.

What information we collect

When you send an enquiry through our website

• your name, phone number and email address;
• your PCO licence status, the service you are interested in and, if you choose one, the vehicle;
• if you choose to tell us, your weekly budget, the initial payment you have available, and your message.

When you call, message us on WhatsApp or email us

We receive your phone number or email address and anything you choose to tell us in the conversation.

If you go on to rent or buy a vehicle

We will ask for further information needed for the agreement (for example, identity and licence details). We will explain what we need and why at that point.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website, and we do not collect information about you from your browsing. See our Cookie Policy.

How we use your information

• to reply to your enquiry and discuss our Rent to Buy and weekly rental services with you;
• to arrange and manage any rental or Rent to Buy agreement you enter into with us;
• to keep records we are required to keep by law (for example, for tax and accounting);
• to keep our website and systems secure.

We will not send you marketing messages unless you have asked us to, and we never sell your information.

Our lawful basis

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), we use your information because:

• you have asked us to — replying to your enquiry and taking steps before entering into an agreement with you;
• it is needed for a contract — managing an agreement you have with us;
• the law requires it — keeping financial and business records;
• it is in our legitimate interests — running and protecting our business, where this does not override your rights.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with trusted providers who help us run the business, and only as needed:

• Cloudflare — hosts this website and securely stores enquiries sent through it;
• Google — provides our email (enquiries are also sent to our email inbox);
• WhatsApp (Meta) — if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.

We may also share information where the law requires it (for example, with the police or a regulator), or with professional advisers such as our accountants and insurers.

International transfers

Some of our providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they protect it with safeguards approved under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to an agreement: up to 12 months after our last contact with you.
• If you enter into an agreement with us: for the length of the agreement and then up to 6 years, to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
• ask us to delete your information;
• object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
• ask us to transfer information you gave us to another organisation.

To use any of these rights, contact us at info@justpco.co.uk. We will reply within one month. There is normally no charge.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
